The Big Scottish Reeling Band
Renowned for outstanding musicianship and exceptional service, The Big Scottish Reeling Band are one of the UK’s leading Celtic party bands. Specialising in Scottish ceilidh, reeling, and energetic Scottish pop and rock covers, they bring lively dancefloors and an authentic Scottish atmosphere to every event.
The band’s musicians have performed for prestigious clients and venues including BBC Radio 3’s In Tune, Gleneagles Hotel, The Savoy Hotel London, Sadler's Wells, and Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, as well as events connected with Warner Bros., HBO Max and Made in Chelsea. They have also entertained guests including James McAvoy, Brian Cox and Prince Michael of Kent.
Members of the band have supported artists such as Sister Sledge, Toploader and Supergrass, and shared the stage with KT Tunstall and John Barrowman. Their caller Tom has even led celebrities including James Corden and Chris Martin of Coldplay through the steps of ceilidh dancing.
🎻 Traditional Ceilidh & Reeling
A full programme of classic Scottish ceilidh dances including favourites such as Strip the Willow, Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, Canadian Barn Dance, Circassian Circle, and Virginia Reel. The band also perform traditional reeling sets such as the Eightsome Reel, Duke of Perth, Reel of the 51st Division and St Andrews Fair for experienced dancers.

High-energy arrangements inspired by modern Celtic artists including Peatbog Faeries, Salsa Celtica and Martyn Bennett.
🎺 Party Covers – 1950s to Today
A huge selection of pop, rock, soul and party classics spanning seven decades—from artists like Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Prince and Bon Jovi to Scottish favourites such as The Proclaimers, Simple Minds, Paolo Nutini and Biffy Clyro, alongside modern hits from Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.

The band can also perform jazz standards, klezmer favourites (including Hava Nagila), and seasonal Christmas music, with flexible line-ups from trio to full party band.
